Walking into a Lead Safe Cleveland 2023

Pep Rally Location: Fairview Park in Ohio City, 1675 W.38th St. Cleveland, OH 44113

Over 25% of Cleveland children test positive for Lead Poisoning before the age of 5. The Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition is a public-private partnership formed to address the issue of lead poisoning in our community. Our approach is preventive, comprehensive, and long-term. The Coalition believes no child should ever be poisoned by lead.

Join us to convene residents, property owners, city officials, community organizations, leaders, and others. Together in solidarity, we can bring awareness and action to lead poisoning.

The event will start at the Western Reserve Fire Museum (located at 310 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115). Registration and Check in begins at 10:00 AM at WR Fire Museum. The walk will begin at 11:00 AM. If you prefer to meet us for the pep rally, the group will end the walk at Fairview Park in Ohio City (located at 1675 W. 38th St. Cleveland, OH 44113).

After the walk, there will be a rally, celebration, raffle, refreshments, and other fun activities.

There will be a Children's Halloween costume contest at the pep rally, if you are interested, please contact our Outreach team at Dylan@ehw.org, or bring your kiddo in a costume the day of and register at our table!
