The Lead Safe Resource Center hosts 4 types of classes; see below for a description of each:

  • Lead 101 – This class is the foundation for understanding lead poisoning and prevention. It has everything, EVERYONE needs to know about lead poisoning including: the history in Cleveland, what lead is, how it affects children and adults, signs of lead hazards, screening and testing, resources and much more.

  • Lead Safe Property Owner – This class combines the Lead 101 + Property Owner toolkit. It has everything property owners need to know about the lead safe certification process, financial assistance, and other resources available to support them on their way to becoming lead safe.

  • Lead Safe Early Childhood Professional –  This class combines the Lead 101 + Early Childhood Professional toolkit. It has everything that early childhood professionals need to know about the impacts of lead poisoning, early intervention, and resources available to support parents and children impacted by lead poisoning.

  • Lead Safe Medical Professional – This class combines the lead 101 + Medical Professional toolkit. It has everything that medical professionals need to know about lead poisoning, screening and testing, and tips on how you can support parents who have been impacted by lead poisoning.
